GRRRRAGH.

I have an artshow/mini con at a local comic shop on March 21st. While i'm uber excited that i've been asked to participate in this, I'm getting mad at my skills right now.

The whole premise of this show is to show off some local artist's newest comic (which he self published). Now on one had i'm very happy for him, but on the other I can't help but be frustrated at myself. I'm bringing copies of my Awesome Storm Justice 41 mini series AND the two spiderman short stories that I've had other artists draw out, but I'd like to bring some of my own work.

the thing is, i suck. Or rather my current opinion is that i suck. I give you guys (true sequential artists) total props for being able to create entire pages in a day. Thus far tonight i've spent and hour and a half on panel 1 of my Doctor Strange/Civil War script i wrote. It took so long to draw it that half way through i began to ponder chucking it and doing my Zatanna/Captain Marvel (Shazam) script instead.

I'm still not sure what to do. I do know that i'd like to finish up a four page script that I've been toying with about a little orphan in the 1930s. BUT i'm still in the idea phase on that one and March 21st is closing in. GAHHH... if i were a rich gal i'd so higher someone to do the art on these for me. Oh well, such is life. I have to suck it up and do the best work i can on this deadline. Heh, its a learning experience if nothing else, eh? At least i have three examples so i won't be going there empty handed.

As for now, at least i've ranted and made myself feel a bit better. I think i shall go to bed and figure this all out tomorrow.
